# What is deducted from my paycheck?

## Paychecks come with mandatory and voluntary deductions.

Your paycheck includes your total earnings for the pay period, along with mandatory and voluntary deductions. Mandatory deductions are legally required and encompass federal income tax, Social Security tax, Medicare, garnishments, and applicable state and local taxes. Voluntary deductions are authorized by you, such as medical and supplemental insurance.

eXp complies with applicable wage laws. If you notice a pay discrepancy, promptly notify the Payroll Team. They will investigate and promptly rectify any discrepancies, ensuring timely payment. Measures will be taken to ensure accurate pay calculations moving forward.

Please utilize ADP to change your federal or state withholdings (Form W-4).
